Tribute to Nurse Entrepreneurship

As a Tribute to Nurse Entrepreneurship, a couple hundred nurse entrepreneurs, and aspiring entrepreneurs, took over the beautiful Sirata Beach Resort for NNBA’s signature educational conference. First scheduled in September; the NNBA postponed the conference due to Hurricane Irma’s impending arrival that same weekend! Speed, quick decision making and pivoting, the NNBA rescheduled for this past weekend and the conference, on all levels, was a resounding success.

Over 20 sessions on nurse businesses, opportunities and best practices were presented by acclaimed and nationally recognized nurse speakers, entrepreneurs and business experts. “The enthusiasm and positive energy here are palpable” said Donna Cardillo, The Inspiration Nurse. Donna received NNBA’s prestigious ‘Vanguard Award’ in recognition of her impact, inspirational leadership and extraordinary contributions to nurse entrepreneurship. Donna accepted the award amid a standing ovation from the nurses present; nurses that have heard Donna speak, teach and greatly inspire them to reach their full potential.

Multiple, glowing 5 star reviews and hundreds of endorsing comments were made by nurses following the conference; here are just a few:

  1. This conference gets better and better every year. Not just for nurse entrepreneurs. This conference has someone for every nurse – entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, or for nurses who just want to develop better business skills. Can’t wait until 2018!
